A voice AI platform for text-to-speech, voice workflows, and audio production, with a free tier and developer API.
The brutal truth
If you need premium voices, this is the default. Kokoro-82M is 60% of the quality for free — the gap is voice cloning and language coverage.

User reviews
We evaluated ElevenLabs against two hosted alternatives. It won on cost-per-output but lost on latency. For batch work it is a clear yes.
The default build is the sweet spot. Anything larger needs serious hardware for marginal quality gains.
Solid for voice generation. The learning curve is real but the payoff is there. Start with the smaller build first.
Reasoning quality is close to the bigger models for structured tasks. Open-ended planning still needs a frontier model.
