Claude
Anthropic's assistant, known for long-document reasoning, nuanced writing, and coding, with context windows up to 1M tokens on higher tiers.
The brutal truth
The only consumer assistant with a real 1M context that works. If you read 200+ page documents, this is the one. Otherwise, ChatGPT's ecosystem wins.

User reviews
We evaluated Claude against two hosted alternatives. It won on cost-per-output but lost on latency. For batch work it is a clear yes.
Solid for long-context reasoning. The learning curve is real but the payoff is there. Start with the smaller build first.
Clean interface, consistent results once you land on a prompt you like. Wish there were more export presets for client handoffs.
Claude handled our batch jobs without surprises. The API is well documented and the rate limits are reasonable.
